Welcome to Lighthouse Central Florida!

For over 30 years, Lighthouse has been the only non-profit organization offering
comprehensive vision rehabilitation services to Central Floridians of all ages
with low vision or blindness.

Lighthouse Central Florida is the only resource in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties providing comprehensive, professional vision rehabilitation services to children and adults who are blind or sight-impaired. Since 1976, Lighthouse has served more than 140,000 Central Floridians through rehabilitation and education. In most cases, services are provided at no-cost to our clients.

Lighthouse Forms Alumni Association


  

Lighthouse Central Florida proudly announces the formation of an Alumni Association under the direction of an Advisory Committee. 

 
Advisory committee members are:
 
·      Rick Cassidy – Class 85
·      Dr. Richard Denning – Class 102
·      Frances Maldonado – Class 92/94
·      Ned Moy – Class 103
·      Frank Perez – Class 79
·      Masae Sly – Class 72/74
·      Tammy Strength – Class 102
·      Marissa Lucca – Transition Class
·      Raymond Colon – Transition Class.   

All adult alumni are invited to join.  The new association is designed to help alumni keep in touch with Lighthouse and one another, share news about our services with the community, and to help raise funds for various needs including continuing education for instructors and transportation for students.  Members will be invited to 4 exclusive quarterly meetings offering informative speakers, refreshments and the pleasure of friendships, receive a special biannual newsletter and a membership pin.  The annual membership fee is $25.  Alumni can register online here or by calling Mary Kimbrell at 407-898-2483 ext. 27.
